I stole this from the luvverly SoN. I'm going to make a decent effort here, where hopefully very few people know all twenty things.
- For every Friday of my entire year in Grade 1, our principal had me sing 'You are my Sunshine' solo before parade. To this day, I have no idea why.
- I loved Speech and Drama in highschool, and I was pulling the grades to make something of it. I even considered a future in the performing arts, but I didn't mention it to anybody because my mother would've seriously broken her fist in my face and I assumed everyone would've laughed in my face.
- I am never anywhere without at least one other person knowing where I am.
- In highschool, I tried killing myself several times. Stupidest moves, ever.
- I ate copious amounts of speed to stay awake for highschool exams, and have only taken speed about three times recreationally.
- I love the pin-up girl look. I wish I could pull it off.
- If I visit your home and your toilet roll is hanging in the overhand fashion, I will turn it around and check on it later.
- I bought a homeless man dinner and a pack of cigarettes once. He was really cool, a real gentleman.
- I was caught playing nurse in our cubby house with a female friend when I was about eight years old. I had no idea what bits where what down there, and I didn't really know the difference between boybits and girlbits. My mother called me a pervert and a paedophile and brought it up every time I wanted to visit a friend's place, even threatening to tell the friend's parents if I was rowdy. It also came up in just about every argument until the day I ran away.
- I was as bald as a baby's butt when I was born, but grew an Asian afro shortly afterwards.
- I love the thought of being courted. Romanced, seduced, chased, whatever - I want that.
- I've never been on a proper date.
- I've wanted a breast reduction since the day I grew breasts.
- I seriously thought about abortion when I found out I was pregnant.
- I hate it when people raise their voices or yell at me, especially if they've been drinking. I lose trust and my sense of security immediately and it takes a long time for me to be comfortable again once it's happened. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
- After I'd run away from home, there was a battle over getting my official documents from my mother. Eventually, she sent them, along with a short letter. In the post-script, she said that she still loved me and that my dog Rocky had died. I cried for Rocky.
- My mother stopped giving me hugs after I found out I was adopted.
- I never want to see my mother ever again. EVER.
- I love musicals.
- I had vocal training and singing lessons as a child. My mother ended it, I wanted to keep going with it.
